Creative ZEN Displaying White Screen When Switched On


  1. Push the power switch to ‘OFF’ position and hold it for 10 seconds. If the player continues to display a white screen, please proceed to the next step. If the player shuts down, please skip the next steps and proceed right away to step 5
  2. If the player continues to display a white screen, reset the player and perform a firmware update. If the player shuts down, please skip the next steps and proceed right away to step 5
  3. Download the latest firmware for your player ZEN_PCFW_L22_1_21_03.exe. For customers in Europe, please download ZEN_PCFW_L22_1_21_03e.exe.
  4. Once the file is downloaded onto your harddisk, connect the player to the PC and double-click on the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions
  5. Perform the recovery tool if the screen still does not display any contents properly through the following site:

    http://www.creative.com/products/mp3/MP3PlayerRecoveryTool/welcome.asp?
